Panhellenic Association Outstanding Women’s Award

The North Carolina State University Panhellenic Association is seeking nominations for its 2008 Outstanding Women’s Award that will be presented in a ceremony on April 8, 2008 in the Talley Student Center Ballroom. The OWA program honors women who redefine the role of women in our society through their various contributions to the NC State community. These women help make it possible for others to pursue their goals and dreams.

Panhellenic awards a $150 and two $100 scholarships to the top three recipients of the Outstanding Women’s Award.

Nominees should exhibit the following characteristics:

  1. Leadership Qualities
  2. Campus Invement
  3. Academic Success
  4. A woman who is “redefining the role that women play” on NC State’s campus

If you are familiar with a woman who typifies these qualities or if you feel you are a woman that possesses these qualities, please consider nominating her for an Outstanding Women’s Award.  Nomination forms may be obtained in the Department of Greek Life located in 1104 Pullen Hall or download it here.

The deadline for nominations is 5:00 PM on March 12, 2008 and all nomination forms should be delivered to the Department of Greek Life.

Note that nominees must attend the Outstanding Women’s Awards Ceremony on April 8 at 7:00pm in the Talley Student Center, Grand Ballroom.
