Greek Village Menu
The Greek Village Master Plan (PDF) calls for a phased redevelopment of the current Greek housing area into a vibrant neighborhood at the heart of the NC State campus. The plan, originally designed by Sam Reynolds of Reynolds & Jewell Architects in 2006, has been refined slightly by Stewart Engineering, but maintains all the core elements of set forth by the Greek Court Redevelopment Task Force. The Village will contain 20 lots for individual chapter houses, a row of Greek Townhouses, a community center, amphitheatre, outdoor shelters, and other attractive amenities. Greek Village will be developed in 5 phases (PDF) beginning in 2008 with a target completion date of 2018.

- Chapters begin construction August 2009
- First houses open Fall 2010 to Fall 2012
- Earnest money and Greek Village Letter of Commitment for Lots 19-20 no sooner than May 1, 2009 and no later than August 1, 2009
- Need commitments from two chapters to proceed
- Demolition of Pi Kappa Phi, Sigma Chi and Sigma Phi Epsilon May 2010
- Infrastructure work to begin June 2010
- University begins construction of townhomes and apartments in August 2011
- Chapters begin construction August 2011
- Houses, Townhomes and Apartments open Fall 2012 to Fall 2013
- Earnest money and Greek Village Letter of Commitment for Lots 8-10 no sooner than May 1, 2009 and no later than August 1, 2009
- Need commitments from three chapters to proceed
- Demolition of Pi Kappa Alpha, Delta Gamma and Alpha Sigma Phi May 2012
- Infrastructure work to begin June 2012
- Chapters begin construction August 2013
- Houses open Fall 2014 to Fall 2015
- Earnest money and Greek Village Letter of Commitment for Lots 11-18 no sooner than May 1, 2013 and no later than August 1, 2013
- Need commitments from eight chapters to proceed
- Demolition of Kappa Sigma, Delta Delta Delta, Delta Zeta and MEAS Storage buildings May 2014
- Infrastructure work to begin June 2014
- Chapters begin construction August 2015
- Houses open Fall 2016 to Fall 2017
- Earnest money and Greek Village Letter of Commitment for Lots 5-7 no sooner than May 1, 2015 and no later than August 1, 2015
- Need commitments from three chapters to proceed
- Demolition of Sorority Duplex, Alpha Delta Pi and Entomology Lab May 2016
- Infrastructure work to begin June 2016
- Chapters begin construction August 2017
- Houses open Fall 2018 to Fall 2019
