Kappa Delta Opening New House
Greek Village Menu
Kappa Delta is putting the final touches on their new chapter house in Greek Village and members will begin moving in on October 24th. The new house, the first privately-funded Greek house on campus, will house 40 women with full meal service for the entire sorority. Contractors have been working extra hours the past month to cap off almost a year of total construction time on the new house. On October 6th, Kappa Delta hosted a house dedication to ceremonially cut the ribbon to the house and give students, alumnae, parents, and staff a first look at the interior spaces. Chancellor Randy Woodson along with Kappa Delta National President Beth Martin Langford, Eta Upsilon House Corporation President Laura Helton, Director of Greek Life John Mountz, and several Kappa Delta chapter officers cut the ribbon then followed a group of almost 100 on tours of the interior.
The opening of the Kappa Delta house marks another milestone in the Greek Village project at NC State.
