NC State Wins Stroll Competition
Posted: 2013-02-14
It was a big Wolfpack win as the NC State Greek Life stroll team took first place in the annual Stroll Competition at the AFLV Conference. Students from the Interfraternity Council, Multicultural Greek Council, National Pan-Hellenic Council and the Panhellenic Association, along with staff from the Department of Greek Life, performed in front of a raucous crowd of over 2000 in Indianapolis. The Stroll Competition is a high-energy, fun highlight of a much larger national leadership conference. Thirty-four student leaders and staff attended the AFLV Central Fraternal Leadership/National Black Greek Leadership conference in Indianapolis, IN. This conference brought almost 3000 undergraduate fraternity and sorority leaders together from across the country to learn from national experts on leadership, ethics, recruitment, marketing, and fraternity/sorority operations. Look for a complete wrap up of our experiences at the conference in the March issue of COLUMNS.
