Sigma Nu House Rises Up
Greek Village Menu
With the structural steel in place, contractors recently finished the last concrete and block work on the first floor of the new Sigma Nu house as well as the elevator and stair towers. And with the sun shining brightly on a unexpectedly cold April Monday morning, crews began the process of framing the second and third stories of the house. The second floor, which serves as the main entry floor from the front of the house facing Greek Village Drive, will include a grand foyer, alumni room, chapter library, kitchen and dining room, a house director apartment, and three student bedrooms. The third floor includes a study room and 16 additional bedrooms. Framing of the house should take three to four weeks and once the house is under roof then the bulk of the construction will start on all the interior building systems.
The house is schedule to open in January 2014.
