Greek Life to host Emerging Leaders Workshop
By Alyssa Robinson, Graduate Advisor
Greek Life is hosting an Emerging Leaders Workshop open to all four councils to foster future leaders in the Greek Life Community at NC State.
At the beginning of this workshop, all attendees will complete the Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI). Four presentations will be offered throughout the day, including a session about philanthropy and service led by CSLEPS staff members; a professional development session led by Shane Taylor, Graduate Advisor; a session about the Chapter Standards Program led by Christina Crosley, Assistant Director; and an information and discussion session about the results of the LPI led by Alyssa Robinson, Graduate Advisor.
The workshop also features a meet-and-greet lunch for attendees to network with other upcoming leaders in the Greek Life Community. Justin Jones-Fosu of CAMPUSPEAK will then deliver the keynote speech: "Be an Action Hero: The Actions of Super Successful Student Leaders."
The workshop will prepare future leaders within the Greek Life Community to take on leadership roles within their respective chapters and councils so they may make positive, lasting impacts on the NC State campus and the community.
