Interfraternity Council (IFC) Registration

There are two steps to joining an IFC fraternity in the fall. The first is to sign up for Fall Recruitment, or RUSH. Please complete the online registration form, or stop by our table at the information fair at summer orientation to sign up.

The second step is to select, those chapters which you are interested in getting to know better. Chapters will sponsor recruitment activities during the two weeks following Welcome Week Activities. Events may include activities such as basketball with the brothers, dinner at the chapter house, movie night, and much more. To find out more about specific chapters and their events, use the chapter Web sites which are found on our Fraternities & Sororities page. And of course, all recruitment/rush functions are alcohol-free.

You might want to check out the latest Grade Reports, which includes chapter GPA and size of membership for fraternities at NC State. IFC fraternities are coded BLUE. In addition, we encourage potential new members to check out the individual chapter's web pages to gain a better picture of fraternities at NC State.

At any time during the first three weeks of school, please contact the IFC President or the Greek Life staff if you have questions. We look forward to seeing you during the summer months and at the beginning of the fall semester.

For Spring, recruitment is much less formal. Check out chapter Web sites for information regarding their calendar of events. Don't hesitate to use contact information provided for each chapter on our Fraternities & Sororities page to express interest and inquire about upcoming opportunities to join.
