Parents Guide: Director's Message

Dear Parents and Family Members,

We are thrilled that your student has chosen NC State for their education and that they may be considering joining one of sorority or fraternity chapters. Greek-letter organizations have been an integral part of campus life since the first group was founded in 1895. Since that time, thousands of men and women have joined to take advantage of the multitude of opportunities that come with membership. Today, more than 2400 students are involved in over 50 different organizations where they are actively engaged in developing leadership skills, serving the community, and developing professional networks for the future. If your student is thinking about joining a Greek-letter organization or is already a member, please take some time to learn about our community from the information on our website or contact us in the Department of Greek Life if you have questions.

Sincerely,

John Mountz
Director of Greek Life
