All candidates must submit applications to the Summer Program Coordinator at their universities. Complete application should include the following information:
Resume
Academic Records
TOFEL or CET-6 score
A one-page Personal Statement. Please indicate your research interest and identify a matching NC State Department in the first paragraph. Explain why you have chosen a particular field of research and demonstrate your academic background related to the chosen research area.
Student Selection
Qualified students are initially selected by their universities. They would be top undergraduate students in their junior or senior year whose academic background and research interest match those of NC State’s research projects and programs under participating faculty.
The list of selected candidates will be submitted to NC State program coordinator. The program coordinator will contact the associated NC State departments, and match students with faculty member whose area of research is similar to what the student would like to pursue.
