Programs

Programs are intended for student groups, guest lecturing of acadmic courses and on-campus residence halls.

Condom Sense- learn why common sense and proper use of condoms go a long way in reducing a person's risk for sexuallyl transmitted disease. Interactive. (45 minutes)

Safer Sex = Better Sex- learn what sexual behaviors have the greatest risk for disease transmission. Also, discover what STDs are most prevalent on college campuses, what to do to prevent them and how to get tested for them. Interactive. (60 minutes)

Sex Under the Influence- is an interactive program discussing the issue of consent in sexual situations and the role of alcohol. The goal is to prevent situations that can lead to sexual assault or rape. Program can be for men, women, or co-ed.

How to Have a Healthy Relationship- program discusses ways to have a healthy relationship by communicting effectively, establishing gender-neutral roles, and how to have a fair argument with your partner. Target audience: Women and Men.

Eating Well Made Simple - Learn the foundation for a healthier diet. Topics discussed will include essential nutrients, filling your plate for energy, and the energy equation. Practical, smart suggestions and tips for good nutrition. Booked for September. Please consider an October or November date.

The Absolut(e) Truth- This program discusses how alcohol and other drugs can have an effect on physical and mental functioning. Discusses how to monitor blood alcohol levels to help prevent negative consequences, and challenge students to become critical thinkers to get beyond stereotypes by using social norms theory.
