AlcoholEdu for Sanctions
is an on-line, science-based program providing detailed information
about alcohol and its effects on the body and mind. Its goal is to help you make well informed decisions about alcohol and cope with some of your peers' drinking behavior.
AlcoholEdu for Sanctions
takes approximately 2.5 hours to complete. If you are required to complete the AlcoholEdu program as part of a university sanction you must complete the following steps:
1. Register to attend one class. You may have already registered through the Office of Student Conduct or University Housing. If you have not, you can contact Chris
Austin.
2. Complete the NC State AlcoholEdu for Sanctions form prior to attending the class.
3. Attend the class.
4. Complete AlcoholEdu for Sanctions
online program. You do not have to attend the class before taking this program. Click here for instructions.
5. Complete the critical thinking paper and return to the person
who referred you. Click here for guidelines.
6. Attend a follow-up appointment with an alcohol education specialist.
7.
Some students may be required to attend a one time session with a university counselor.
Fall 2009 Alcohol Sanction Classes
The cost of the class is $40 and can be paid for between 8-5 PM
at the cashier’s office in the Student Health Center. Please
note that classes start on time, thus if you are paying the day
of the class please do so by 4:30 PM.
