Jump Start - a fresh start to healthier eating and activity

Health Promotion, University Dining and Campus Recreation are partnering to help you "Jump Start" your healthy eating and fitness habits. Whether your goal is to lose weight (less than 20 pounds*), learn to eat healthier or establish an exercise routine "Jump Start" will get you on the right path. Commit to this FREE 2 week, 4 session program to gain knowledge, skills and tools for a healthier lifestyle. Register today!

Session one will teach you the basics to healthier eating on and off campus. Session two will provide you the how to's for safe and effective fitness as well as a routine to get you started. Sessions three and four will offer you hands on experience in Carmichael Recreation Center with a personal trainer. You will learn both cardio and strength equipment to put into practice your new fitness routine.

Benefits include professional analysis of a food journal, equipment orientation as well as a strength training and a cardio progression routine to help you get results.

Individuals please register in person at the Fitness Suite in the Carmichael Campus Recreation Center. You will need your campus ID to register.
