Why Are Women's Nutritional Needs Different Than Men's

Eating the right foods can give women that extra edge their bodies need. Look at the chart below to discover your special dietary needs.

Nutrient What It Does Good Sources
Calcium maintains bones density, regulates blood pressure during pregnancy,aids in blood clotting Milk, yogurt, cheese, broccoli, salmon with bones, spinach, waffle
Iron What It Does Good Sources
prevents anemia, strengthens the immune system round of flank steak, prune juice, dried figs, barley, potatoes with the skin

B Vitamins What It Does Good Sources
improves energy, boosts mood, helps with sleep patterns, balances appetite at meals pork tenderloin, enriched grains and breads, rice, oats, beans, mushrooms, salmon
