Perception vs. Reality- Students often stereotype their peers, thinking that their peers exhibit more negative behaviors than they actually do (i.e. all students who drink, drink to get drunk; most students smoke cigarettes). This program is designed to challenge students to become critical thinkers to get beyond these stereotypes by using social norms theory.

Alcohol Poisoning and Other Drug Interactions- This program teaches the signs and symptoms of alcohol poisoning and how to respond to this medical emergency. It also examines the complications that can arise when a person experiences multi-drug interactions, such as mixing Tylenol and alcohol.

Cultural Use of Alcohol and Other Drugs- Drug use occurs in a context. For example, a 16-year-old drinking wine at Shabbat is seen much different than a 16-year-old drinking a beer on a city street. This program explores these cultural contexts as well as the role that attitudes toward drug use play in cultural contexts.
