HIV & STD Testing

Testing for HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) is available on campus at the Student Health Center.

HIV/STD Testing

There are two options for testing:

1. With a Student Health provider.*

Appointments are available daily, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm (9am-4:30pm Tuesday).
*Testing done by a Student Health provider is confidential but will be a part of your
medical records and has a minimal fee.

2. Through Wake County Human Services at the Student Health Center.

Appointments are available on Wednesdays only (of the current week) from noon-4pm.
*Testing done by Wake County Human Services will not be a part of your medical record and is FREE of charge.

To schedule an appointment for HIV/STD testing: Call 919-515-7107 (Medical Appointments) or 919-515-7762 (Women's Health Appointments). The appointment coordinators will discuss testing options with you. f you choose not to disclose "HIV/STD testing" as the reason for your appointment, simply state it is a "personal issue."
