Instructor: Dr. Christopher J. Crosbie
  Assistant Professor
Dr. Crosbie received his Ph.D. from Rutgers University in 2007 and was recently awarded the Shakespeare Association of America's J. Leeds Barroll Dissertation Prize. An Assistant Professor with the English Department, he teaches Shakespearean and non-Shakespearean Renaissance drama. His research focuses on the influence of classical and early modern philosophies on the Renaissance stage, and he has recently published articles on Shakespeare and his contemporaries with journals such as Shakespeare Quarterly and English Literary Renaissance. He is currently working on a book length study of early modern revenge tragedies and the philosophical traditions that inform them.
