Instructor: Dr. Rebecca Ann Walsh
  Assistant Professor
Rebecca Walsh is Assistant Professor of English and the faculty sponsor for the Sigma Tau Delta English Honors Society chapter on campus. She received her B.A. from Kenyon College and her Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Before joining NC State, she taught at Southern Illinois University (Edwardsville, IL) and Duke University. She is currently at work on a book project, Modernism's Geopoetics: The Cultural Politics of the Near and Far in Global American Poetry. Her research interests include postcolonial literature and theory, cultural studies approaches to space and place, ideas about movement and migration, and feminist theory and women's literature.
