Robert I. Bruck graduated with two Ph.D. degrees from Syracuse and Cornell Universities and has been at NC State since 1978. In 1997 Dr. Bruck was the recipient of the NC Medal of Science-the highest civilian award in the state. His research deals with the effects of air pollution on high altitude forest ecosystems. He is the Director of the NC State Environmental Technology Program and teaches 9 courses.
