Description: |

This course focuses on the role of energy in our modern-day society. Since the 20th century electrical energy has held a growing impact on our society and our individual lives. This course attempts to break the conventional approaches and views on energy that are perpetuated in modern-day culture. Through examination and discussion of various factors affecting energy choices in the United States and world-wide, more than simply the scientific and technological aspects, students will benefit from receiving a more full understanding of energy and its impact on the world.
