Description:
Winston Churchill once said, "Democracy is the worst form of government except all those other forms that have been tried." If that is the case, then what are we to make of American democracy? This seminar will explore the issues plaguing contemporary American politics at the federal level, compelling students to develop a comprehensive understanding of our modern democratic republic. This is a student-led course. Professor Greene will serve a the instructor of record, supervising the efforts of student instructors Joseph Moo-Young and Neel Mandavilli. This is a one-credit, credit -only (S/U) course.
