The
UHP enthusiastically supports students’ involvement
in opportunities afforded by our partnerships with NC
State’s Cooperative Education, Extension and Engagement,
and Study Abroad Programs. An important part of our mission
is to position students for admission to and success
within graduate and professional degree programs and
for employment in excellent jobs immediately following
graduation. All three of these program goals can be supported
by exceptional inquiry-, discovery-, and creativity-based,
partnership experiences that include independent or group
research/creative projects.
We
continue to search for mutually rewarding opportunities,
service-learning, and enrichment programs for our students,
including a research-mentorship program with NC State’s
Library and a year-long series of seminars, workshops,
and exhibits with NC State’s Gallery of Art and
Design. If you have an idea for a partnership activity
with the UHP, please contact our director, Dr.
Larry Blanton at Larry_Blanton@ncsu.edu.
