Integral
to our program success is the enthusiastic support of
NC State’s faculty, staff, and administration.
We appreciate the generous support that all have shown
the UHP and our students.
Important
information for Academic Advisors of entering students
who are members of the University Honors Program
First
semester UHP freshman must be enrolled in a 3-credit hour
HON seminar, preferably in HON 202 (Inquiry, Discovery,
and Literature), which satisfies the Literature GEP. The HON 202 sections are restricted to incoming freshmen. Most entering freshman will have been automatically
preregistered in HON 202.
First
semester UHP freshman may enroll in other
HON seminars. This can be in addition to or in lieu of
HON 202.
We
have reinstituted our HON 101 course in a new form. This
course is not required and enrollment is limited to UHP
students who are resident in the Honors Village.
The courses are one-credit hour, S/U graded, and serve
to introduce students to the resources of the area.
The entering UHP students have been given the special
code that will allow them to register for our courses without
having to receive departmental approval.
If you have any questions, please call our general number
3-4078 and someone in our office will assist you.
