Residence Hall Visitation Policy - Possible change for 2010-11
The Inter-Residence Council is working to explore changing the current visitation policy to include 24-hour visitation. IRC's proposal will be presented to the Board of Trustees at their April meeting.
If approved, the initial program will take place in Bragaw, North and Turlington halls. These three halls will have 24-hour visitation beginning in the fall, 2010 semester. Because the decision will not be finalized before HARP begins, you will need to consider this issue when selecting your space for the coming year.
The Inter-Residence Council and University Housing will keep all residents posted on the outcome of this proposal.
Please contact University Housing at (919) 515-2440 or by email housing@ncsu.edu if you have questions.
Housing Application Renewal Process (HARP): February 22 - March 11
The time to register for the 2010 - 2011 academic year is upon us, and NC State students can reserve their rooms on campus through the Housing Application Renewal Process (HARP), an online system enabling residents to choose a room and roommate via the web.
HARP will be open February 22 - March 11, 2010. Detailed instructions, along with sample screen shots will be available through the MyPack Portal under the HARP section of University Housing's self-service page. Please take some time to review these helpful resources before beginning the process.
If you have any additional questions, contact us by email: housing@ncsu.edu, or call us at (919) 515-2440. Our staff will make every effort to work with you and answer your questions.
