Programs and Events

The Village is governed by a Village Council. This council, with new elections every year, provides leadership opportunities to all residents of the Village. The council concerns itself with all issues regarding Quality of Life, rents and fees, and programs that you as a resident would like to see occur. All you need to do is voice your opinion. You are encouraged to assume a leadership role in order to strengthen your existing skills and develop new ones.

The Village Council, along with the E.S. King Village staff and partners, proudly maintains a high level of programs and events for all residents of the Village. These include such programs as North Carolina State University Adjustment, English as a Second Language, Time Management, Crisis Management, Sewing, Self Defense, Child Find Registration, Operation I.D., Garden Days, Holiday Celebrations, It's your Birthday, Bicycle Registration, and a host of seasonal and spontaneous events.
