24-hour visitation expansion approved for additional residence halls
Posted: February 1, 2012
A recently approved proposal to expand 24-hour residence hall visitation will bring the total number of buildings with the 24-hour option to 13 – or 65% of the campus resident population.
Beginning fall 2012, the following halls will host 24-hour visitation:
- Berry Hall
- Becton Hall
- Bagwell Hall
- Carroll Hall
- Wood Hall – Building A
The decision arrives on the heels of a recent IRC survey that indicated 90% of NC State residents currently without 24-hour visitation would approve of the expansion. According to the survey, 73% of respondents also noted that visitation hours are a key factor in choosing where to live in the coming year.
University Housing will continue to monitor any issues related to visitation so residents enjoy a safe, comfortable living environment.
