First-Year Writing Program Portfolio Process
Posted: August 9, 2012
The First-Year Writing Program (FYWP) has transitioned to an electronic submission process for writing portfolios under consideration for exemption from ENG 101. For additional information about the eligibility and submission criteria for writing portfolios, please see our website.
The FYWP will accept writing portfolios from students who meet eligibility criteria via a new Moodle website from August 16, 2012 - September 7, 2012.
This process is designed for incoming, first-year students; however, transfer students and upperclassmen who meet eligibility criteria may submit a portfolio to apply for a possible waiver of the ENG 101 requirement with permission from Bridget Kozlow, the portfolio administrator.
Eligible first-year students should contact Ms. Karen VanDreumel to verify their eligibility and receive instructions for accessing the Moodle site. Transfer students and upperclassmen seeking permission to enter the portfolio process should contact Bridget Kozlow. Portfolios will not be accepted past the September 7 deadline.
