5th Annual Student T-Shirt Design Contest

Use your creativity to design a t-shirt(s) and compete for a new iPad valued at $499.00! Plus, $2 from the sale of each t-shirt will be donated to Pack Promise, NC State's need-based financial aid and student success initiative.
Email your entry to the Bookstore. Include your name, telephone number, email address, student ID, and local mailing address. Any entry that is received without complete contact information will not be eligible. Entries should be saved in a format such as JPG or PDF.
Use one of the following templates:
Once all of the designs have been submitted, a panel of judges will select several of the top designs. These designs will become semi-finalists and will go on to university-wide voting.
Semifinalists will be selected based on the following criteria:
- How well the design/slogan reflects NC State University.
- Whether the design/slogan is eye-catching, powerful and unique.
- Whether the design/slogan is in keeping with the university’s code of conduct.
- Compliance with trademark licensing regulations. http://web.ncsu.edu/trademarks/
Use the following guidelines:
- Students may submit as many designs as they choose within the deadline period.
- The design submitted is student’s original work; no other persons can claim ownership.
- Any designs that do not win the first year may be resubmitted the next year(s).
- The design will be screen-printed on the front of a cotton t-shirt. Two-sided tees will also be considered.
- Students may use up to two ink colors with the fabric color as a third color.
- Designs must include logos from NC State University only.
- Designs should be submitted electronically via email.
- The contest is open to current NC State students only.
- All entries become the exclusive property of NC State Bookstores.
- NC State Bookstores reserves the right to modify and amend these guidelines at any time without notice.
Timelines:
- Design Submission Deadline: Sunday, September 9, 2012
- Campus-wide Voting Begins: Wednesday, September 12, 2012
- Campus-wide Voting Ends: Sunday, September 16, 2012
