Housing Selection 2013-2014
Posted: January 7, 2013
It’s that time of year again! Has your student signed up for a place to live on campus for next year? If your student wants to live on campus for the 2013-2014 academic year, he or she must participate in Housing Selection during February 11-27.
Research shows that on-campus living equates to higher GPAs, higher graduation rates, and a higher overall satisfaction with the college experience. Plus, University Housing offers programming and amenities that you won’t find anywhere else! Whether your student wants to return to one of our 20 residence halls, or plans to move into one of our four campus apartments - the choice is theirs! However, they must be sure to make their choice during our annual Housing Selection to ensure a space.
Housing Selection is a two-part process. Students first update their housing application and then complete their room assignment. If your student is unsure about how Housing Selection works details of the process can be found on the University Housing website.
As a parent, you might also have questions about agreements and housing costs (the fine details that students often overlook). All of this information can be found on our website.
If you have questions about the process, contact the Housing office 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (M-F) at (919) 515-2440 or email housing@ncsu.edu.
