Greetings from University Housing! As the new academic year approaches, we know you are anxious to finalize your plans for arrival on campus. We have compiled this information to assist you and make the transition a little easier.
- NC State’s University Housing director welcomes you to campus housing!
- Check your room assignment through the MyPack Portal and get your roommate's contact information.
- Print a special parking pass and follow these instructions on how to navigate campus during check-in traffic.
- Apply for early check-in (individuals or group members) beginning July 1, 2012.
- Contact the Residential Network gives for you access to the internet access.
- To arrange for Cable televisions (optional service) contact the Office of Information Technology.
Additional information is available regarding property insurance, the cancellation policy, office hours, housing rules, immunizations and more.
During orientation, our student newsletter, The Front Porch, and our parents' newsletter, The Porch Light, will be available. They both include valuable information that will help you prepare for arrival at NC State.

- Friday, August 10: 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. (Check in at assigned halls)
- Saturday, August 11: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Check in at assigned halls)
- Sunday, August 12: 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. (Check in at 24-hour service desk)
- Monday, August 13: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Check in at 24-hour service desk)
- Tuesday, August 14: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Check in at 24-hour service desk)
- Wednesday, August 15: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Check in at 24-hour service desk)

- Buildings E and F: August 7 – 11 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Check in at Building E)
- Buildings A and B: August 7 – 11 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Check in at Building B)
- Buildings C, D, G, and H: August 7 – 11 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Check in at Building D)
- All Buildings: August 12 – 15 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Check in at Building G Service Desk)
