New Student Orientation Sessions

Will you be arriving early for your orientation session?

If so, Conference Services, partnered with New Student Orientation, is offering lodging in Lee Residence Hall for early arrivals for only $18.00 per person.

Registering is easy. Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Fill out the online reservation form (be sure to include which session you are attending!)
  2. Check-in at the Lee Residence Hall desk between 5:00–11:00pm on the day prior to your orientation session.
  3. You will pay for your night’s stay when you check-in. So, be sure to bring a check made payable to “NC State University” for $18.00.

What if I lose the key(s) to my room?

You will be issued two keys upon check-in. One is for the suite door and one is for the room door. If you lose a key, you will be charged $110 PER KEY for replacement. So, please be sure to keep track of your room keys!

General Information

  • Room assignments for your Orientation session will be done on site during Orientation check-in on a first-come, first-assigned basis.
  • While staying with us on-campus during Orientation you are held responsible for your actions along with any guests. You are also expected to abide by all University related policies, along with state and federal laws.
  • All of our buildings are non-smoking. If you smoke, you will only be permitted to do so outside, at least 25 feet from the building.
  • During your stay we have upper class students that live in the building as Summer Conference Assistants. These students staff the Service Desk in the lobby and function in a duty rotation in the evenings in the event of an emergency. The staff members name and phone number will be posted in the lobby area at the Service Desk should you have a question and/or problem.
  • There will be no phone service available in your room during your stay. If there is an emergency and your parents/guardians need to get a message to you they can contact the New Student Orientation office at (919) 515-1234, University Housing at (919) 515-4398 or Campus Police at (919) 515-3000.
