H1N1 Flu Information

Student Health has diagnosed around 200 students with influenza or influenza-like illness, presumed H1N1, from the start of the fall semester on August 17th through September 4th. Student Health had an additional 113 cases the week of September 7th, which now puts the count over 300 students. The breakdown includes 23 during week of August 17, 57 during week of August 24, and 116 during week of August 31. Those affected have a variety of majors. Breakdown of those affected includes 56% male, 44% female, 84.7% undergraduate, 64.3% residing off campus, and 35.7% residing on campus at various residences.
