Bagwell Hall offers double-occupancy rooms, which open onto an interior hallway. Each room contains its own sink and each floor shares bathroom facilities. A community kitchen is located on the first floor and is available for all residents to use. Additionally, Bagwell Hall is a smoke and alcohol-free facility.
Each air-conditioned room is equipped with Internet connections, access to cable TV (for an extra charge) a mini fridge and microwave. The Honors Village Commons is conveniently located next door and includes a 24-hour service desk, convenience store, computer lab, mailboxes, and meeting space. Clark Dining Hall is also adjacent and a City of Raleigh public park is just across the street.
Bagwell Hall is the home to the University Honors Village. The Village is designed to support the University Honors program. An apartment is dedicated to a scholar in residence to assist in the educational exploration of village members. Students come to understand both the history and consequences of discoveries, inventions, new art forms, new ideas, and books.
Please note: This hall is outfitted with beds that are equipped with lofting capabilities. Therefore, no additional lofting materials (whether constructed or purchased) will be permitted in these rooms.
