Owen Hall offers double-occupancy rooms, which open onto an interior hallway. Each room contains its own sink and each floor shares bathroom facilities. Additionally, Owen Hall is a smoke and alcohol-free facility.

Each air-conditioned room is equipped with Internet connections, access to cable TV and local phone service (for an extra charge), a mini fridge and microwave. The First Year College Commons is conveniently located across the street and includes a 24-hour service desk, a computer lab, the administrative office and advisors of the First Year College and meeting space. Cayrmichael Gym is also across the street and Owen Hall is very close to the bookstore and both student centers.

Owen Hall is the home of the First Year College Village. The Village is designed to support those students that begin NC State without a declared major. Students receive additional academic counseling and take classes together. Participants in the First Year College are required to live in the village, based on available space.

Please note: This hall is outfitted with beds that are equipped with lofting capabilities. Therefore, no additional lofting materials (whether constructed or purchased) will be permitted in these rooms.
