Tucker Hall is the home of the First Year College Village. Each room is equipped with a microfridge and Internet. Access to cable TV is available for an extra charge. Each room contains its own sink and each floor shares bathroom facilities. The First Year College Commons is conveniently located across the street and includes a 24-hour service desk, a computer lab, the administrative office and advisors of the First Year College and meeting space. Tucker Hall is located near Carmichael Gym, the bookstore, a convenience store and both student centers. Tucker is a certified Energy Star building, recognized for reducing energy use and greenhouse gas emissions by 35 percent in comparison to typical buildings.
