What is the Housing Judicial Board?
The Housing Judicial Board is a panel of residents, who have been selected and trained to adjudicate alleged student violations. It is the responsibility of this bard to hear testimony, review evidence, to attach responsibility, and render sanctions.
Are there specific requirements for Housing Judicial Board Officers?
There are a few requirements for Housing Judicial Board Officers.
- You must be at least a 2nd semester freshman with minimum 12 credit hours passed.
- You must have and maintain an overall GPA of at least 2.5.
- You must reside within University Housing.
- You CANNOT have an active disciplinary record with NC State and/or University Housing.
- You must be able to attend Judicial Board Training on either (September 24th or September 25th)
How do I apply?

Are there interviews?
All applicants who meet the minimum requirements can expect to be interviewed during one of our interview days on September 18th or 19th. More specific interview information will follow once you submit your completed application. Schedule subject to change. Final decision and New Board Members notified on September 21st.
Is training involved?
Yes, it is. If selected, you will become a part of a very important team within University Housing and we want to make sure that you have all the tools necessary in order to be successful. Training for all successfully selected candidates will take place on either September 24th from 7pm - 10pm or September 25th from 3pm - 6pm Schedule subject to change.
