Whether you’re doing online shopping or wanting Mom’s to mail you some homemade cookies, check out the details below on how to receive mail on campus.
Sending Mail and Packages Through the U.S. Postal Service
- Mail and parcels sent through the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) to NC State University halls are delivered daily Monday through Friday (except holidays and student breaks).
- The USPS delivers mail to the NC State Campus Mail Center, and then it is distributed throughout the campus. The USPS delivers mail directly to Wolf Village, Wolf Ridge, E.S. King Village and Western Manor Apartments. Outgoing domestic mail which is placed in the U.S. mail slot located near the residence hall/apartment mailboxes is picked up daily. USPS mail boxes are also located near Poe Hall and Harrelson Hall. Stamps are available for sale in some residential building lobbies, near service desks and at the bookstore.

- Packages sent through a delivery service such as FedEx or UPS will go directly to the student’s residence hall/apartment front desk and bypass the Campus Mail Center.
- Community Assistants working the hall/apartment desks will notify residents that a package has been received for them. The resident is responsible for retrieving the package.
