Spring 2012 Application Opens October 1, 2011 at 8 a.m.
Residence Hall Applications
Once you are accepted by NC State, you may apply for on-campus housing beginning October 1. Assignments are made in the order applications are received.
Follow these simple steps to complete an online residence hall application:
- log in to the MyPack Portal
- select "Student Self-Service"
- select "University Housing"
- select "Prospective Residents"
- select "Housing Application"
As part of the application, you may select criteria such as whether you go to bed by 11 p.m., are an earlier riser, or if you study with TV or music. These responses are used to assist us in matching roommates. In addition, you may select a roommate and rank your top three preferred residence halls. The list of buildings in the application is a web link that displays information and the amenities of the selected residence hall. Please note that space in some halls may be limited.
We will begin assigning students the week of November 28. Once you've been assigned, we will email your assignment to you along with check-in instructions.
