Welcome to University Housing! Thank you for considering NC State for your student's next educational experience. Whether your student is new to NC State or returning to campus, our professional staff, Resident Advisors (RAs), hall councils and desk staff will help your student
- get to know other students,
- get to know the campus, and
- get involved in campus life.
Virtual tours of our West, Central and East Campus Residence Halls offer room features and layouts for student rooms. Upper class and graduate students interested in apartment living will find 3-D floor plans and details at Apartments on Campus. University Housing also offers nine Living and Learning Villages where undergraduates share similar interests and pursuits, living and studying under one roof.
Costs for living on campus are divided into two charges (fall and spring terms). The Housing Agreement includes both terms. Cost Information is always available online.
Students who want to live on campus need to complete and submit an application found on the MyPack Portal. For students who will be under 18 years of age by the beginning of the term, the Parental Approval Form is required.
Whether you have concerns about property insurance to protect your student’s belongings or need mailing instructions for that special "care" package, get your answer at Frequently Asked Questions. Still have a question? Contact us at 919-515-2440 or refer to the red banner, below.
Keep up with current campus news and learn more about what University Housing offers your student. Enjoy the online Wolf's Den Newsletter for Parents which is published online in November and March.
We update our Housing website continuously, so check it often for important dates, deadlines, etc. We know that parents and family provide the most important support for their students, so keeping you up-to-date is our priority!
