Who We Are
The First Year College (FYC) enables students to enter the University without immediately declaring a major, allowing a year for guided inquiry and exploration before a major is declared.

What We Offer
The Village offers a close-knit,
supportive environment, as well as opportunities for friendships, academic development
and recreation within an intellectually challenging community. We are housed in Tucker and Owen residence halls, located on Central Campus.
Both Tucker and Owen are in convenient proximity to a variety of academic buildings, the NCSU Bookstore, Talley Student Center,Fountain Dining Hall and Carmichael Gym.
The FYC Academic Adviser offices are conveniently located on the first floor of Tucker.
