Impact Leadership Village
Coming Fall 2009
University Housing established the IMPACT Leadership Village in fall 2009. The Leadership Village is an interdisciplinary leadership-based living and learning community created for first- and second-year students. The IMPACT Leadership Village provides students interested in leadership with the opportunity to live in a community of emerging leaders who desire to learn about leadership models, organizational development, ethics in leadership and global leadership. The Village helps students identify and develop their leadership strengths and provide participants with the opportunity to engage in practical application of leadership to real world issues.
The IMPACT Leadership Village is located on the third and fourth floors of Bowen Hall on Central Campus and is a small community of 76 students. Bowen Hall offers double-occupancy rooms in a 5-room suite configuration, opening on an interior hallway. Private bathroom facilities are shared by each suite (10 people total) with each bathroom having two sinks, two toilets and two showers. Additionally, Bowen Hall is an alcohol- and smoke-free facility.
