Wood Wellness Village

Wood Wellness Series logoMake personal wellness a priority! The Wood Wellness Village is an exciting residential learning opportunity open to all students who wish to live a healthy lifestyle. It provides participants with ways to experience personal growth while learning about the seven dimensions of wellness. The Village enables students to live an active lifestyle, engage in healthy decision making, create positive relationships, and explore environmental awareness. Examples of programming opportunities include: group fitness, outdoor trips, nutritional advice, sexuality and substance use education, meditation and stress reduction.

As a member of this Village community, you will be expected to enroll in PE 295, a 2 credit course that counts towards General Education Plan (GEP). You will have a student mentor to assist and support your healthy lifestyle. The community is developed and nurtured through experiential programming, community engagement, and regular interaction with students and staff.
