Description:
The session provides information regarding the I-9 employment verification process, as well as the E-Verify electronic employment verification and compliance process, pertaining to all new hires at NC State University. Relevant federal law and University procedures and timelines will also be covered.
- Covered topics include the I-9 completion process in detail, including federal requirements and University processes, timelines and restrictions. Copies of correctly completed I-9 forms, as well as identity and employment documents, will be provided. The session will also cover the federal E-Verify electronic employment verification process, including how to get access and what steps need to be taken to enter information and receive employment authorization approval.
