Although communication is basic to all human interaction, it is a very dynamic process and can be a challenging task. Not being able to communicate clearly and concisely can create frustration and lead to misunderstandings. This seminar is designed to sharpen your existing communication skills and explore skills necessary for effectively communicating both interpersonally and in writing.

Communicating effectively leads to greater collaboration, improved relationships, and higher productivity and business results. Recognizing others’ Communication Styles and preferences and adjusting to them results in more efficient communication, and, increases one’s ability to persuade and influence others.

Objectives:
  • Gain an understanding of your own communication style and see how others perceive your style in the workplace
  • Learn skills to adapt to others’ Communication Styles
  • Practice Active Listening
  • Review effective verbal and non-verbal communication techniques
  • Practice business writing strategies for concise and clear written communications
