Review best practices related to how you manage your work, projects and time. Review a best practice and how you make decisions in a way that removes conflict and creates buy-in. Project managers wear different hats that include managing not only time, but meetings, tasks, making decisions, documenting activities, and tracking the decisions. This 3 hour course reviews a series of best practices that touch on topics that is relative to all work disciplines. Join us for a half-day of reviewing and applying these best practices.
- Review the key components of managing a project. Develop a project plan that properly defines a project's scope and a shared understanding of how the project team can reach a successful completion. Develop Statement of Work, a shared work schedule outlining tasks, milestones and team member ownership. Manage meetings and monitor progress.
- Describe how to make a group decision given time and resource constraints - Describe how to avoid common problems like group think, hidden agendas, and difficult team members
- Learn that time management is a personal skill that can be learned and developed. - Review a basic model of time management. - Learn skills to help manage their work activities,
- relationships, and communication techniques improved their time management skills.
