Description:
The session provides information regarding the I-9 employment verification process, as well as the E-Verify electronic employment verification and compliance process, pertaining to all new hires at NC State University. Relevant federal law and University procedures and timelines will also be covered.
The session will cover the I-9 completion process in detail, including federal requirements and University processes, timelines and restrictions. Copies of correctly completed I-9 forms, as well as identity and employment documents, will be provided. The session will also cover the federal E-Verify electronic employment verification process, including how to get access and what steps need to be taken to enter information and receive employment authorization approval.
