The Teaching and Visualization Lab is a theater that offers seamless 270-degree projection with 3-D capability on 80 linear feet of display surface, creating unparalleled opportunities for immersive research and development. And the Creativity Studio’s movable walls, 3-D projectors and full-surround sound system allow users to create real-world simulations with an astonishing degree of detail.

The Hunt Library is located on Centennial Campus, a nationally recognized public-private research park with more than 60 corporate, government and nonprofit partners. Accordingly, the library’s collections support the groundbreaking research at Centennial, which helps attract industry clusters to the state. For instance, North Carolina’s smart energy grid industry is anchored by the FREEDM Systems Center, the only smart grid research center in the country to be funded by the National Science Foundation.
