The Clogging Club began in 1989 under the direction of Marsha Lester. The first team performance was in December of that year at a women's basketball game at NCSU. The primary focus grew for the team to promote and preserve the folk art and tradition of clogging through performance, service and competition. With over 250 state, national and international performances, the team has had the opportunity to share the joy, fun and excitement of dance with all ages and nationalities.
