The roller hockey club has combined instructional, recreational, and competitive elements to form a well-rounded club that offers members lots of opportunities and advantages. Male & female club members are divided into teams based on skill level and attitude. The "A" team plays intercollegiate competition in the Atlantic Collegiate Roller Hockey Association (ACRHA), while the other 4-5 recreational teams play in leagues at the Carolina Sportsplex in Cary. Club members must supply their own equipment. Required equipment is as follows: inline skates, shin pads that cover the knees, elbow pads, hockey gloves, stick, & helmet. Recommended equipment is cup, hip & thigh pads, and a mouthpiece or face shield. No skill requirements!
