Updating Your Virus Definitions and Software - Macintosh

LiveUpdate for Mac OS X:

1. Make sure that you are connected to the Internet.
   
   
2. Open your Macintosh HD, then select your Applications folder.
   
   
3. In the Applications folder, locate the Symantec Solutions folder, and open it.
   
   
4. Double-click on the LiveUpdate icon.
   
   
   
5. The LiveUpdate utility will start. Click on the Update Everything Now button to begin the update process.
   
   
   
6. The virus definitions may take a few minutes to download, depending on the speed of your Internet connection.
   
   
   
7. When the definitions are completely downloaded, click on the Quit button.
