How do I use SSH to access Unity?

SSH icon
You can use SSH to access Unity and use a text-based email program such as Elm. You probably won't need to use SSH often. However, Unity Unix commands for such things as granting access to Web files will work in SSH. (What is SSH?)

  1. Double-click on the SSH icon in the AdminLauncher window.
  2. Enter the your Unity password.
  3. To check email, type elm at the unity% prompt.
  4. To end your SSH session, type logout at the prompt.
